Holiday weather and a light easterly welcomed everyone to Salcombe.

Chris Ellis & Becky Hopwood and Harry Pynn & Millie Parsons got away to spend the first half of race 1 swapping places then Chris pulled away to win.

In race 2 four boats were in contention early on, Harry, Tim & Becca Fells, Nick & Joanna Marlow and Chris Ellis and this is the order they stayed until the last mark when the fight between the sea and land breezes found them in the doldrums. Chris Ellis took advantage of the strengthening land breeze to win from Tim with Nick third.

Race 3 saw Sunday with a Southerly wind that built during the day. Chris & Ann Biglin were first round the weather mark followed by Nick and Tim. Towards the end Tim and Nick caught Chris with Tim beating Nick by less than a metre.

Race 4 Dave Young & Lucy Evans were first round the weather mark followed by Chris Ellis and Tim who swapped places for most of the race. Dave & Lucy won.

The final race had a F3 and a long beat with the tide meant most rounded the weather mark together. Tim and Chris Ellis went left down the run that gave them the lead over those going right. Chris Ellis won, Tim second and Harry third.
