INTRODUCING CHEF - DAVID WILSON

Welcome to our new Chef David!
Dave started off cooking at the age of 14 at home and then went on to study catering from age 18. He was trained at a 2 AA Rosette level. From there he worked at a variety of establishments between London and Devon building up a portfolio of experiences. More recently he ended up as Head Chef at The Globe in Frogmore and has subsequently moved over to join our team at Salcombe Yacht club.
Dave is looking forward to running his own kitchen. He has an eye for great presentation and cooking good, wholesome food provisioning from local establishments where possible.
His vision is to make the club a very foodie place with seasonal menus and tasting sessions, while furthering his knowledge and passion.
“I can't believe I now have a job with such an amazing view - please do come and chat with me - particularly if you have any dietary concerns. I aim to produce exquisite menus with an interesting twist! Food to excite every hungry sailor and shore based members alike.”
Dave describes himself as a young aspiring chef who wants to do well. His mantra is Dream it, believe it and achieve it!
