Come and join us for the annual May Solo Open, very kindly sponsored by Barney Greenhill.

With four exciting races scheduled across the weekend, plus a Competitors Supper on Saturday evening and prizegiving on Sunday, the Solo Open promises to be the best £30 you'll spend this year.

- Chicken or Vegetable Tikka Masala, served with basmati rice, naan bread and mango chutney

The closing time for entries for the event is midnight on Friday 15th May 2026.

Late entry fee is £45.

By entering online, the entrant agrees to be bound by The Racing Rules of Sailing and all other rules that govern this event including the Notice of Race, and that your boat will conform to their requirements. You also confirm that you hold third party liability insurance of at least £3,000,000.
Please note that entry will only be accepted once payment has been received.
You agree to SYC taking photographs either directly or by hiring a 3rd party photographer for sales and marketing purposes.
