SYC Members Shine at the Lark Nationals
Salcombe Yacht Club was well represented at this years Musto Lark National Championships in Fowey, with Tim Fells and Ollie Meadowcroft both making their mark in a highly competitive fleet of more than 40 boats. SYC Summer Series, R5 - Yawl Report
Saturday saw 13 Yawls arrive on the start line in near-perfect sunny conditions, with a Force 3 south-easterly breeze and a fast-ebbing tide. The race committee set course 1-7-1-3-2-3. Y161, with guest helm J. Burn, and Y168, helmed by Will Henderson, were both over the line at the start, while the remainder of the fleet got away cleanly.
