Racing Update for Saturday, July 27, 2024:
The Race Officers intention is to utilise a committee boat start for racing in accordance with the SYC Club Racing Sailing Instructions.
The likely starting area will be in the vicinity of Mill Bay.
The finish line will be an imaginary line between the Watch House flag staff and an inflatable mark laid on the PORT side of the Super Yacht Elysian.

SYC Summer Series Race 4 - Solo
A light west south westerly, reinforced by a hint of sea breeze provided sitting out conditions for the twelve Solo sailors for the third race of the Salcombe Yacht Club Summer Series. Race officer Fran Gifford set a classic Blackstone Gerston Blackstone Crossways course on a neapy ebb tide. SYC Summer Series Race 4 - Fast Handicap
Course 1-7-1-3 A small group of five boats arrived at the start line and were treated to plentiful sun and a cool southwesterly breeze that was, at times, strong enough to test the toe straps. Storm Nutall, in a Merlin Rocket, drafted her husband in as crew, but they were unfortunately late starting, so scored DNS. SYC Summer Series Race 3 - Yawl Report
Despite near-perfect racing conditions, only five Yawls rolled off their docks, slipped into the water, and made their way to the start line.
