Devon Eyes Salcombe Yawl Autumn Open Meeting
Thirteen red fleet Yawls, lucky for some it turns out, foregathered for the Devon Eyes sponsored Autumn open meeting. Lucky for all of us actually, since we were blessed with some very fine Autumnal weather of bright sun and benign breeze. Most teams cracked out the shorts and t-shirts for one last hurrah of 2026. ILCA 6 Youth World Champions at Aarhus, Denmark.
This summer I had the opportunity to compete in my First ever international sailing event at the ILCA 6 Youth World Championships in Aarhus Denmark. The Worlds came straight after my first ILCA 6 Nationals, so it was two big events back-to-back and a great opportunity to gain lots of experience.
