Salcombe Town Regatta
All competitors are honorary members of Salcombe Yacht Club for the duration of the Town Regatta, and their families are welcome as their guests to use the Club where you will find a warm welcome extended by the bar staff with hot/cold drinks and snacks available all morning and a delicious lunch menu served from 12pm.
The Town Regatta sailing programme emphasises the fun side of dinghy racing and there is no better example of this than the Pursuit Races on Friday. For those not familiar with the format, starting times are staggered to take account of the speed of different types of boat and the boat that is leading when the finishing canon is fired after 90 minutes is the winner. Plus, of course, there is the fancy dress competition to decide the best dressed crews of the day!
