Four Ilca 6s were out on Saturday enjoying the lovely spring weather.

Steve Walter joined the fleet after 15 years in Salcombe Yawls and took the opportunity of benign conditions to reacquaint himself with neoprene and familiarise himself with a boat that has a lot less forgiveness than what hes used to!

Andrew Groves rounded the windward mark first closely followed by Steve Walter. The long downwind leg gave Allan Wilcox the chance to pick Steve off where he went from 20 boat lengths behind to 20 boat lengths ahead whist also managing to introduce himself as he overtook!
