Dinghy raft party upstream of Dittisham 6:00PM

Bring your own tender, drinks, and nibbles.

 

Supper at the Ferry Boat Inn 7.30PM

C. Beef madras with rice, poppadom, and chutney  

D. Vegetarian Lasagne with salad

Cost £ 24 pp excluding tip

 There is no water taxi booked so please bring your own tender.

 

Saturday 25th June; Visitors Pontoon Brixham Marina.

We plan to arrange a fun race from Dittisham to Brixham. Details to be announced in the FBI.

 

Pontoon drinks party beside Ardea at 6.30PM

 

Supper at Brixham Yacht Club, Jubilee Room at 8.00PM

We plan to arrange a water taxi from the pontoon to BYC but not back.

I. Slow cooked Spanish beef with chorizo and red wine

J. Chargrilled paprika chicken with tomatoes and olives

K. Vegan Sausage and white bean cassoulet

L. Chocolate, almond and pistachio torte (vgn and gf). A rich dark Belgian

chocolate truffle with almonds a coconut cream, finished with flaked

almonds crushed pistachio nuts and glazed.

Berthing

You will be allocated a buoy in advance at Dittisham appropriate to your length. Dart Harbour berthing and harbour dues for the buoys are the same as the Dartmouth Rally.  Berth booking on the SYC website is set up so you can select your length (rounded up to the next whole metre) and the number of days you want to pay for. The berthing fees and harbour dues are: -

8m                         £15

9m                         £17

10m                       £19

11m                       £21

12m                       £23

13m                       £25

14m                       £27

15m                       £29

 

We will be on the visitor pontoon at Brixham Marina. There will be a berthing plan issued in due course, generally larger yachts and the rally master on the inside and smaller yachts on the outside, please arrive early if you are over 12m. Please pay for your berth in the marina office before departure In advance please register for MDLs Otium Reward scheme (https://www.mdlmarinas.co.uk/otium/) which will secure discount for future bookings. Charges are £3.40 per metre per night for yachts under 12.6m and £4.00 for yachts over 12.6m

 

Sunday 26th June; Race back to Salcombe

  • Start time; to be advised at the supper
  • Start; the BYC line off the breakwater.
  • Course; Skerries buoy to starboard,
  • Finish; when Prawle Point NCI bears 000° within 1NM


 

Depending on the wind the course may be shortened to Skerries Buoy (bearing 090° within 3 boat lengths) or at Start Point lighthouse bearing 000° with 1NM of the light. All further instructions on VHF Channel 72.

 

Please confirm if are going to one or both venues, crew numbers, names and meal selections for the FBI and BYC by Wednesday 15th June.

 

There will be a cost of £5 per person (skippers free) for the Saturday drinks party.
