First Aid Course
Our one-day course covers all the usual first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages. This course is MCA approved and satisfies the requirements for Coastal Skipper Yachtmaster and Advanced Powerboat certificates of competence and some commercial work afloat.
You will receive the RYA First Aid Manual and the certificate that is valid for 3 years.
Full SYC Members Course fee £60 per person. For 3 month temporary membership please add £35 per person (To be paid on the first day of the course)
10am to 5pm in the SYC Dining Room.
Please bring a pack lunch and or money to buy lunch.
Cancellation Policy:
If The club or instructor has to cancel, candidates will receive a full refund.
Candidate cancellation:
up to 24 hours prior to the course - no refund
more than 24 hours notice - full refund
