RYA Day Skipper Theory Course

This comprehensive classroom based course will cover: Seamanship, coastal navigation and pilotage, chartwork, electronic charts, position fixing, plotting a course to steer, weather forecasting and meteorology, tides, and collision regulations.

The course will be run on Saturdays starting on January 11th and lasting for 7 weeks. The proposed dates are: Jan 11, 18 - Feb 1, 8 - March 1, 8, 22.

Times 10am to 5pm

Full SYC Members Course fee £350 per person. Non members please request the price.

Day Skipper packs will be provided for all students. You will need to provide a chart plotter, dividers, pencils and rubber.

Deadline for course application is October 15th 2024. Places are limited.
