Stones Boatyard Solo Jubilee Weekend Open

We look forward to welcoming the Solo fleet to their Open Meeting at SYC.

Start times over this 4 day Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend Open Meeting are different to the usual format:

Thursday 2nd June Race 1: Red Yawl 14.00, Blue Yawl 14.10, Solo 14.20 

Saturday 4th June Races 2 and 3: Red Yawl 11.30, Blue Yawl 11.40, Solo 11.50 Race 3 to follow back-to-back

Sunday 5th June Race 4: Red Yawl 10.30, Blue Yawl 10.40, Solo 10.50

There is an All-Comers Jubilee Pursuit Race on Friday 3rd, first start at 11.00am, open to all boats with a PY number of 1208 or below.

We are also pleased to be able to continue our long association with Barney Greenhill for this event. Barney will be providing a £10 bar voucher to all Solo Open competitors and will be presenting the celebrated 'Struggle Trophy' to the sailor who, have completed all races, has the highest points total for the event!

As regular visitors will be aware, those wishing to keep their boat at Batson boat park for the weekend need to book a space with the Boat Park attendant. If you need to leave your car there as well you will need two spaces. Spaces can be booked by calling the Salcombe Harbour Authority on 01548 843791.

Visitors will also need to pay Harbour Dues for the weekend which can be done at a special discounted rate of £10 when entering online. If you are also going to sail in SYC Regatta Week there is no need to do this as Harbour Dues are included in the entry fee for that event.
