SYC Ramble

Our original intention was to have a ramble starting in Kingswear and including a visit to the National Trust house and garden at Collaton Fishacre. Unfortunately they are closed at the beginning of February and this ramble will be rearranged for later in the year. Thus we are now planning the ramble on the area southwest of Salcombe.

Please meet at Martin and Pams house, 17 Beadon Road, TQ8 8LX at 10.30 for a coffee and we will then follow the North Sands track, through Hangar Mill and up hill in a northwesterly direction before cutting southwest over the fields. This will lead through to Combe and up to Rew where the footpath goes behind Rew Farm and leads to the Bolt Head airfield before cutting down to Overbecks, South Sands and back to North Sands. It is intended to stop for a light lunch at the Winking Prawn. Steak and chips is available at the Club in the evening. Please book on line so that we dont go without anyone.
