Tony Rowe Challenge Cancelled
The Tony Rowe Challenge Inaugural Race from Dartmouth to Salcombe Saturday 11 June 2022
This race is a single event in two parts.
For the crews from BRNC sailing in their Contessa 38s under the burgee of the Britannia Yacht Club, this is a chance to participate in a friendly but competitive passage race from Dartmouth to Salcombe. The winning BYC boat will return to Dartmouth with a fine trophy* to be re-awarded in future years.
Salcombe Yacht Club will race in their cruisers for a matching trophy*.
All prizes, and a declaration of an overall winner determined by NHC handicap, will be awarded at an informal dinner afterwards at Salcombe Yacht Club.
It is intended to be, and will be, an enjoyable day, and a fun way to get people from our clubs together.
