Charlotte Simmonds delivered an impressive performance in her first National qualifier, finishing as the 6th girl in the 4.7 Fleet (top third) out of 18 and placing in the top half of the 55-strong main fleet. With over 200 sailors competing across three fleets—the largest turnout in years—she exceeded her own expectations. Despite a three-point penalty on the first day for forgetting to tally, a mistake she shared with the leader, she still secured a strong result. A valuable lesson learned, shes determined never to make that error again!
