Sail GP plays host to SYC

Wow, just wow!!
The SYC Cadets were extremely lucky to be given the opportunity to see the operations behind the #SailGP scenes last night in Plymouth.
As part of this years Adopt-a-Club community outreach program, which aims to create a bridge between world-class athletes & young sailors in the locations where SailGP events are held, SYC have been adopted by #canadasailgp as part of the #sailgpinspire program.
The SYC Cadets were met by Jareese Finch, one of the Grinders from the Canadian team.
Jareese spent time answering questions from the Cadets (and their Parents) and spoke about the importance of sustainability in sailing and, in return, we presented Jareese with a lucky mascot; Team SYC teddy.
We would like to thank Jareese for taking time out of his busy schedule to talk to our Cadets.
