SYC U18'S RACING, SERIES ONE

The 2025 U18 Series one, concluded Tuesday evening after a total of six races over three weeks, showcasing the talents of nine young sailors across various dinghy classes.
Race 5 & 6 Highlights:
- Race 5: Frankie Burn delivered a commanding performance in his Laser, securing a win with a corrected time of 17:50. Will Ness (Topper) and George Reynolds followed in second and third places, respectively.
- Race 6: Ivy Hart (ILCA 4 / Laser 4.7) achieved her first win of the series, finishing with a corrected time of 19:50.Burn secured second place, while Ness took third.
Overall Series Summary:
- 1st Place: Frankie Burn (ILCA 4/Laser 4.7) dominated the series with consistent top performances, including victories in Races 3, 4, and 5. With two discards applied, Burn secured the overall win with a net score of 4.0 points.
- 2nd Place: George Reynolds (Topper) started strong with wins in Races 1 and 2. Despite missing Races 3 and 4, Reynolds managed to clinch second place overall with a net score of 10.0 points.
- 3rd Place: Emily Hoar (ILCA 4 / Laser 4.7) demonstrated consistent sailing, finishing third overall with a net score of 10.0 points, closely following Reynolds.
The series highlighted the competitive spirit and skill development of young sailors, with notable performances across different classes and conditions.
