Tall Ships Charity Dinner at BRNC

A bus full of Salcombe Yacht Club members attended a prestigious black-tie reception and dinner at the Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth on the evening of 13th March. It was based on a 1920s theme and was a fundraiser for 'Tallships' https://www.tallships.org, a splendid charity achieving outstanding results, taking disadvantaged children to sea and boosting their confidence. They are campaigning for a new Flagship to augment their flotilla of 4 x 22metre racing yachts, a catamaran and a Ketch. They have helped over 100,000 young people to a better life since they were founded some 60 years ago.
