Published 15:31 on 31 May 2026
The cruiser group of the yacht club enjoyed a successful rally in Fowey during the weekend of the 15-17 May. The Rally was attended by 17 boats with 14 yachts and 3 motorboats.
We were pleased to welcome new rally goers, who all stated that they thoroughly enjoyed the event.
After a lively sail from Salcombe enormous tasty Cornish pasties from the Quay Bakery were enjoyed on the pontoon on Friday evening.
On Saturday morning a hardy group enjoyed a walk to Golant and lunch at the Fishermans Arms while others enjoyed the Fowey shops and lunch at the Royal Fowey Yacht Club.
The supper rally was attended by 41 guests at Fowey Gallants Sailing Club, where the food was exceptional as usual. Their Commodore, Allen Toms, welcomed us all and thanked us for using their venue.

Serenity went on to Helford, Penzance and finally the Scillies.
Thanks to everyone who attended the Fowey Rally and embraced the cool weather and somewhat challenging sea conditions.
