Sailing Update

Following the publication of the Government's roadmap for easing Covid related restrictions, the Salcombe Harbour Authority opened the Harbour for recreational boating from March 8th.
RYA guidance on re-starting sailing indicates that club racing will permitted from March 29th.
The Dinghy and Cruiser Racing Programme (which forms part of the NoR) has been amended as follows:
The Commissioning Race will take place on Saturday 3rd April at 1400 (not the usual time of 1300)
Spring Series races 1 to 6 will take place from Saturday 10th April to Saturday 15th May at 1400 Handicap fleet and 1410 Solos
The Sailing Club and Summer Series will consist of 5 races each running from Saturday 22nd May and Saturday 26th June respectively, roadmap and RYA guidelines permitting.
The remainder of the club racing programme remains as published. The May Open Meetings will take place as scheduled.
Please remember to observe social distancing at all times, especially during launch and recovery, whether recreational sailing or racing.
