  • A widely appealing, fast-moving contemporary suspense drama, set in a fictitious Devon estuary town.
  • Features strong characters from wealthy high-earners, to locals, and people whose families have been in Devon for generations who all live around an estuary town that many would consider to be paradise.
  • Captures a strong nautical flavour and addresses 2019 contemporary lifestyles of its residents and visitors.
  • Adam Ranworth is at the heart of the story that develops around local issues, drugs and later migrants.

Relocating from a life of luxury in London to the iconic West Country holiday town of DAYMOUTH, Adam Ranworth buys, on impulse, a waterside cottage overlooking the beautiful estuary. He quickly discovers a different life as he meets the strong, independently minded locals.

He joins the lifeboat crew, experiencing high drama and deep tragedy. The differences between wealthy incomers and working locals, together with conservation versus modernisation create the potential for conflict and he is drawn into the darker side of DAYMOUTH life involving drugs and migrants.

The story moves to an exciting climax on the Cotes dAzur where Adam meets a Polish billionaire benefactor... But will the police be able to identify the drug and migrant mastermind disrupting the DAYMOUTH peace?
