Kath Stone

It is with much sadness that we notify members of the passing of Kath Stone. Kath was a part of the sailing scene in Salcombe for many years; racing with her husband Alec, helping Shirley run cadets as well as being a partner with Alec in their boatbuilding business J. Stone and Son. A wonderfully warm and friendly personality with a ready smile and a good sense of humour, she will be greatly missed. She died yesterday at her home in Goodshelter aged 93. The funeral will be private and will be followed by a memorial service at a later date.
