SYC helps the Food Bank

SYC was delighted to be able to help the Kingsbridge Food Bank - which distributes to 22 parishes - including Salcombe. Before Covid-19 - they were providing food for 12 families - they are now assisting over 100 families.

Nick, our great SYC Chef, cooked up all the SYC fresh food and made over 40 2-serving portions of Chilli, Soups, Rice etc which Jules then took to the food bank. The food bank now provide fresh food to the club once a week which Nick continues to cook and Jules then takes for distribution on a Friday. 

Every little helps and the club are doing their bit!
